Investigators say they’re looking into the discovery of a man’s body found in a Brampton park this week.

Peel Regional Police have confirmed that officers were called to the area of Brickyard Way in Brampton shortly after 12:15 p.m. on Monday after human remains were discovered in a park.

The body was of an adult male who police say was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. A spokesperson for Peel Paramedics Services confirmed members were called to the scene but was unable to provide any additional details.

Police say the scene is being held by officers as investigators wait for the results of a post-mortem.

In a statement to Insauga.com, a police spokesperson declined to say who discovered the body, whether any foul play is suspected or what condition the man was found in.

“This is an ongoing investigation and no other details are available,” police said.
