Body found after lengthy search and rescue effort in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police’s (PRP) search and rescue effort in relation to a man who fell into the Credit River has concluded.
At 3:43 this afternoon (May 25), PRP and other first responders were called to the area of Old Derry Road and Mavis Road in relation to a person who had fallen into the Credit River.
After a lengthy rescue effort, PRP recovered a body from the river.
Unfortunately, emergency services were unable to resuscitate him, and he was pronounced dead.
