Blues-rock legend Jack de Keyzer kicks off the Convergence Music Festival at the Biltmore Theatre in downtown Oshawa Thursday night.

De Keyzer, a guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer and two-time Juno winner who has been called the “finest blues guitarist in Canada” (by the late Jeff Healey, no less), hits the Biltmore stage at 7:30 p.m. for the all-ages show, presented by the Downtown Oshawa Business Alliance and the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce.

Excuses Excuses will be supported by Lost in Japan, Mattlayn Music and local up-and-comers Far From Infamy. Saturday’s concert will also be 19+.
