Blood donation event happening soon in Milton

The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Milton Bible Church, located at 121 Chisholm Dr.

“The need for blood is constant and Canadian Blood Services relies entirely on the generosity of volunteers to meet Canada’s rising need for blood,” stated the Town of Milton’s website.

Those who are interested in donating will require an appointment, which must be booked in advance.

Appointments can be booked at blood.ca or by calling 1-888-2-DONATE.

Those who are unable to attend on Nov. 15, but are still interested in donating, may do so at upcoming events on Dec. 4 and Dec. 20.
