Blaze in Brampton business promptly extinguished by fire crews

An active fire incident at the back of a business establishment in Brampton stirred concern among residents around 6:18 p.m. this evening(Aug. 28).
Peel Regional Police say that they received reports of a fire in the area near Intermodal Dr and Goreway Dr., which emitted dense black smoke into the sky.
The fire was attended to by fire crews who managed to extinguish the flames without the incident spreading to nearby structures.
Police confirm that there were no reports of injuries resulting from this incident.
However, authorities have not released any information on the circumstances leading up to the fire.
