‘Blatant disregard’ for road safety results in charges for Brock man following community complaints

A Brock driver now faces multiple dangerous driving charges after a series of public complaints about his “blatant disregard” for road safety.
Durham Regional Police announced the man’s arrest on May 3. They said they launched an investigation after receiving several public complaints about a series of incidents. Police allege the driver exceeded 150 km/h on multiple occasions, prompting the complaints.
“He exhibited a blatant disregard for other motorists’ safety on the roadway and as a result is now facing numerous charges,” police said.
The driver, age 21, has been charged with several Highway Traffic Act offenses as well as three counts of dangerous driving.
