Bikes and cash register stolen during Milton store break-in

A bicycle shop in Milton was the target of thieves who broke in either late last night or early this morning (Dec. 9).
Reports indicate the bad guys broke in through the front door of Spokes ‘N’ Slopes on Steeles Ave. E. and then through the drywall to get into the shop.
Once inside they took several bikes and the cash register. The number of bikes taken has yet to be determined. The cash register was recovered a few blocks away.
Halton Regional Police are investigating the incident. There is no information on how many were involved or if there is any suspect descriptions.
This is the third break-in at a Milton shop this week.
According to Halton crime data, a store was broken into on Harrop Dr. on Monday and a shop was targeted on Bronte St. S. yesterday night.
