Biker in hospital after Brampton crash

A biker is in hospital after he and a car collided at a busy Brampton intersection.

The motorcycle and the car collided around 4:30 p.m. at Kennedy Rd & Steeles Ave, the intersection next to a large shopping centre.

The biker was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Peel Regional Police later confirmed the biker was in non-life threatening condition. Police have not commented about the other driver involved.

As a result of the crash the Steeles Ave westbound lanes are closed until further notice between Rutherford Rd and Resolution Dr according to police.

PRP advises motorists that the road will reopen soon.
