Big unclaimed lottery ticket was sold in this Ontario city

There’s not much time left for the winner of a big lottery prize to come forward in Ontario.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said that one ticket matched the first six of seven Encore numbers in the Dec. 3, 2024 Lotto Max draw.

That results in a prize of $10,000.

The winning ticket was sold in Ottawa, the OLG said, but no one has yet come forward.

The OLG said players must match the first six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order to win $10,000.

“Players have one year from the draw date to claim their prize,” the OLG said.

That means just two weeks are left.

If someone believes they bought the winning ticket and may have lost it, they should call the OLG at 1-800-387-0098 and provide specific details, including where and when the ticket was purchased.
