Big top circus returns to Mississauga

A big top, travelling circus returns to Mississauga.
The Royal Canadian International Circus 2024 opens Friday at Dixie Outlet Mall, 1250 South Service Rd.
This year’s all-new circus, under a massive big top, is jam-packed with live entertainment, organizers say in a press release.
The shows include daredevil Joseph Dominik Bauer on the Wheel of Destiny, the Guerrero High Wire, Bollywood aerialists, the Motorcycle Globe of Death, a human cannonball, the Zeman RollerSkating Duo from AGT and Quick Change, and CHU Acrobatics Canadian Tribute on a 20-foot unicycle.
There are no acts involving animals.

There are 17 shows in Mississauga from Aug. 9 to 18.
The first show is at 7 p.m. Friday, there are weekend shows at noon, 4 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. There are nightly shows at 7 p.m. from Aug. 12 to 15 and the circus wraps up with more Friday and weekend shows Aug. 16 to 18.
The show runs for two hours, including a 30-minute intermission.
