Big power outage affecting Mississauga this morning

There is a power outage in Mississauga this morning (July 30).

Alectra Utilities says the outage is affecting nearly 1946 homes and businesses in a central part of the city.

The outage is at the Hurontario St. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. area as well Confederation Pkwy and Rathburn Rd area of Mississauga.

The power is out in almost 2000 homes and businesses but crews are well on their way to finishing repairs.

Alectra says they should have power back by 11:30 a.m.
