BIA Roundtables Coming to Mississauga to Mark Small Business Month

Running a small business can be as challenging as it is rewarding and it’s good to give home-grown companies a little extra support.
As you may or may not have known, October is small business month and to celebrate, Mayor Bonnie Crombie is holding a series of roundtable discussions with small business owners from the city’s neighbourhood Business Improvement Associations (otherwise known as BIAs).
As to what will happen at the discussions, Crombie said that BIA representatives will be able to talk about the ways they want local government to help them “compete, expand and succeed.”
“I encourage all of Mississauga’s hardworking small business owners and entrepreneurs to speak up and have their voices heard during these community consultations,” Mayor Crombie said.
As for what neighbourhoods have BIAs, you’ll find associations in Clarkson, Streetsville, Malton and Port Credit. If you’re a member of one of these associations, the meeting schedule can be found below:
