Beware of This Phone Call Scam Mississauga

Police are warning the public about (yet another) phone call related scam that seems to be targeting citizens in Peel.
People have reportedly been getting calls from the number shown above (+1 647-715-9003), with the caller claiming to be from the Ontario Police Association.
It would seem this scam tries to take a more "innocent" approach by pretending to help children's charities in the province, likely to guilt-trip victims into providing money for what appears to be a good cause.
Peel police took to Twitter with a screencap of the number, saying: "This phone number is a scam saying they are Ontario Police Association helping children’s charities. They are NOT."
Although this is only one phone number, it's possible there are several other people participating in this scam so be wary. If you're aware of any other numbers that appear to be from scammers, spread the word and let others know!
