Beer Store and LCBO Release Canada Day Long Weekend Hours

This upcoming Canada Day long weekend is unique in the sense that while the actual holiday falls on a weekend (Sunday, July 1), the holiday will be observed by most public and private businesses on the following Monday (July 2).
That means that this coming Sunday will be, for all intents and purposes, a pretty regular day (with additional festivities and fireworks, of course).
To make the long weekend even better, the LCBO and Beer Store will be open on Sunday (but closed on Monday).
“In honour of Canada Day, all stores will be closed on Monday, July 2, 2018,” the Beer Store wrote on its website. “Most stores will observe 11-6 hours of sale on Sunday, July 1. Here is a list of exceptions. We hope you have a safe and happy Canada Day!”
LCBO locations in Mississauga and beyond will also be open on Sunday.

So if you plan on hosting a Canada Day party on Sunday, you don’t have to worry about hitting up your local beer or liquor store on Saturday.
