Beaverton man charged with impaired driving in Lindsay

A Beaverton man faces impaired driving charges after a stop in Lindsay.

A concerned citizen reached out to the Kawartha Lakes Police to report a suspected drunk driver shortly before 5:30 March 15. Officers caught up to the car on Kent Street West in Lindsay, noting signs the driver was impaired.

Kenneth O’Connor, 68 of Beaverton, was charged with impaired driving, and refusal to comply with a demand.

He will appear in a Lindsay courtroom on April 21.
