The Beamsville Park and Ride on Ontario Street, which services as a hub for GO Transit and Niagara regional buses, is about to see on-site construction upgrade starting on July 12.

Metrolinx, in charges of the construction, will be upgrading accessible parking spaces, building a new walkway, widening the existing bus platform and installing tactile warning tiles

Construction will result in temporary platform changes, and will affect how riders board their bus for the remainder of the month: bus boarding will only be possible on the south side of the platform, the bus shelter will be temporarily closed, the bike rack will be relocated while work is underway, accessible parking spaces on the north side will not be available but the south side accessible parking will remain open.

Metrolinx estimates the construction works will be complete in the Fall of 2021.
