BBQ restaurant serving smoked meats and comfort foods opens new location in Milton

If you’re looking for a new spot for barbecue, comfort food or late-night dining, a well-known restaurant and bar has opened a new location in downtown Milton.

Uncle Sam’s Bar and Grill officially opened its doors on Dec. 18 at 370 Main St. E., marking the restaurant’s second location, with the first in Hamilton.

According to its website, Uncle Sam’s BBQ has been serving barbecue since 1998 and has built its reputation through catering, restaurant service, and appearances at ribfests across Ontario.

Uncle Sam’s is known for its use of dry rubs, cherrywood smoking and slow-cooking techniques, as well as its catering services for weddings, corporate events and private functions.

The menu at the Milton location includes brisket, pulled pork, ribs and smoked chicken, along with burgers, sandwiches, wraps and tacos.

Appetizers such as smoked wings, BBQ nachos and loaded fries are also offered, along with pasta dishes like chicken alfredo and brisket mac and cheese.

The restaurant also serves combination platters designed for sharing, salads, steak options and a kids’ menu.

In addition to its food offerings, Uncle Sam’s operates as a bar, serving drinks alongside its dine-in and late-night menu.

Uncle Sam’s is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
