BB gun found after threats hurled in Brampton road rage incident
This BB gun found after threats were allegedly uttered has Peel Police warning residents to be careful with them.

A man from Brampton faces charges after he allegedly threatened someone while he had a BB gun on him during a road rage incident.

The suspect and the victim got into a road rage related argument near Dixie Rd and Bovaird Dr around 6:10 p.m. May 31. Police allege the man hurled threats at the victim while in possession of a BB gun.

When police found the man, they arrested him on charges of uttering threats and unauthorized possession of a gun. Police found found the BB gun in a holster in the car while executing a search warrant.

Brendan Deonarine, 39 from Brampton, has been charged with utter death threats and released with conditions. He will appear in a Brampton courtroom on August 11, 2022.

Peel Police said they, “would like to remind members of the public that although it is legal to possess BB, pellet or airsoft guns, many of which resemble real firearms, great care is required when in possession of them to ensure that the public or police do not mistake them for real firearms.”
