Banquet hall closed after failing health inspection in Brampton

A banquet hall in a Brampton convention centre has been forced to close after failing a recent health inspection.

Galaxy Grand Convention Centre, located at 200 Advance Blvd, was inspected and shut down on Wednesday, July 8.

The inspection report alleges that the banquet hall did not store potentially hazardous food at safe temperatures (corrected during the inspection), did not properly store food to prevent contamination and/or adulteration, and did not take adequate measures to prevent pests, causing serious health risks.

The banquet hall is closed until further notice.

This is the only failed inspection on Galaxy Grand Convention Centre’s public record, which has inspections going back to June 2025.
