Niagara Falls’ award-winning Farmers’ Market kicks off the 2023 market season at MacBain Community Centre on May 20 from 7 am to 1 pm.

The Farmers’ Market will relocate to its new, permanent home at the Niagara Falls Exchange, the city’s new 10,000-square-foot Arts and Culture later this summer upon substantial completion of the construction project.

“As The Exchange nears completion, we couldn’t ask for a better temporary location than MacBain Community Centre for our Farmers’ Market vendors and patrons,” said Clark Bernat, Niagara Falls’ Manager of Culture and Museums.

“This season, we have many of our returning vendors, as well as some new and exciting vendors, as part of the weekly lineup. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on May 20th and are excited to move into our new home at The Exchange later this summer.”

The Niagara Falls Farmers’ Market was awarded ‘Market of the Year’ in 2021 by Farmers’ Markets Ontario, an award that recognizes outstanding farmers’ markets that add value to their community.

The Market will feature upwards of 25 local farmers, growers, makers, and bakers, runs every Saturday from Victoria Day long weekend until Thanksgiving.

On May 20, marketgoers can expect a variety of offerings at MacBain Community Centre, including local produce, flowers, homemade baked goods & food, artisan goods and art from various Niagara-based creators. There will also be live music, contests, crafts, face painting and more.
