Milton residents will be excited to know that the highly anticipated Hops & Harvest festival is making a comeback this weekend.
The annual autumn festival, which is known for its local food, beverage and market vendors, will be coming to Kelso Conservation Area, located at 5234 Kelso Rd., from Oct. 1-3 after being put on pause last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to appreciate the heritage of the Niagara escarpment with activities such as hiking trails and chairlift rides, all while supporting local businesses and fresh farmers’ market produce.
Additionally, this year’s festival will be extra special because it will allow Conservation Halton and the community to celebrate and support local businesses that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
The public is advised that the format of the beverage experience has changed slightly this year to ensure everyone’s safety. Beverage samples will not be offered, but attendees will have the option to purchase full-size beverages from vendors.
Residents are also reminded that the event will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and that masks and social distancing will be required. It will be a rain or shine, non-refundable event.
