August 8 Weather: Rain expected for southern Ontario

Thursday is shaping up to be a wet one in Mississauga and southern Ontario.
There will be a chance of showers during the day and then again during the evening hours, says Environment Canada.
The day will start off cloudy and then as it moves into the afternoon there will be a 60 percent chance of showers.
The high will remain the same at 24 degrees Celsius, though the humidity will shoot up and make it feel like 32 degrees Celsius. The UV index will be 6 or high.
The evening will also see showers, along with the risk of a thunderstorm. The total amount of precipitation is expected to be between 10 to 20 mm.
The overnight low will be 21 degrees Celsius.
The sun will come up a minute later than Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. and then go down a minute earlier at 8:33 p.m. The total hours of daylight time will be 14 hours and 18 minutes.
