ATV rider who was seriously injured in crash now facing charges: Hamilton Police

A 39-year-old who was ejected from the ATV he was riding after a crash in is now facing impaired driving charges.

A 39-year-old who was ejected from the ATV he was riding after a crash in Hamilton is now facing impaired driving charges.

The unnamed male was reportedly riding an ATV eastbound on Highland Rd East in Stoney Creek on Dec. 3, 2021, at around 9:30 p.m. when he lost control and was ejected from the vehicle.

The man was transported to hospital and treated for serious injuries. He has since been released.

Hamilton Police now say the man is facing two charges related to impaired driving.

He will appear in court on Feb. 17.

Police are still seeking witnesses.
