Athletic gear, air fryer, children’s high chair and chocolate recalled from stores in Mississauga and Brampton

Residents are asked to check their homes as multiple brands of athletic gear, cookware, children’s high chairs and organic chocolate are being recalled from Mississauga and Brampton stores.
Below is a list of items being recalled this week.
LED Armband Reflective Running Gear
This athletic gear comes in a variety of colours including red, orange, green and blue – all of which have been recalled.
Risk: During charging the product could overheat, posing a fire hazard.
What you should do: Consumers should stop using the recalled item and contact OMKHE for a refund.
Risk: When charging, the product could overheat and be a fire hazard.
What you should do: Stop using the recalled product and contact Anker customer support for a refund and instructions on how to dispose the power bank.
The turret connect screw can fail when in use causing the whole product to stop working.
Risk: This issue can lead to drowning or permanent injury.
What you should do: Stop using the product and return it.
As of Feb. 16, 2023, the company has received no reports of turret connection screw failure in Canada, and no reported injuries or drowning.
SCARPA F1 LT and F1 GT ski boots
Certain batches of this product have been affected.
The Fall 2022 collection F1 LT and F1 GT ski boots for both men and women are being recalled.
The boots have “SCARPA” written in white letters on the lower outer side and the manufacture date is stamp molded into the cuff.
To check the manufacture date, the boots have to be placed in walk mode and the cuff needs to be pushed back. It will reveal a lower circle with an arrow pointing to the number “22” which is the year that the product was made.
Any boots purchased before Aug. 1, 2022 are not affected.
Risk: Falling hazard leading to possible injuries.
What you should do: Immediately stop using the products and contact SCARPA for replacement screws.
The recalled high chairs have black, mahogany, natural or walnut finishes and were sold in either assembled or ready-to-assemble form. The chair is unstable and may break during usage.
Risk: It can cause a falling injury to children.
What you should do: Stop using the product and contact Clark Associates for a replacement or store credit.
The wire connectors in the products can overheat.
Risk: Can cause burns and be a fire hazard.
What you should do: Stop using the product and contact Cosori for a replacement unit.
Salento Organics brand dark chocolate
Several flavours of this product have been recalled, including pineapple bites, dragon fruit bites, banana dark chocolate clusters, and dark chocolate dipped peanuts.
The chocolates contain undeclared milk that was not mentioned on the label.
Risk: Consumers who are allergic or sensitive could experience a minor or life-threatening reaction.
What you should do: Throw away the product or return it to the store.
