At least three wanted after two-week robbery spree in Oshawa and Clarington

Police are looking for at least three suspects after eight businesses and restaurants in Oshawa and Clarington were broken into and robbed in a nine-night crime spree last month.

Eight commercial businesses and restaurants in total were victimized by the group, with one-to three businesses robbed per night between June 16 and June 24.

• On June 16 it was the Waltzing Weasel on Taunton Road in Oshawa
• Two more Oshawa establishments were broken into on June 17: the Bulldog Pub on Grandview Street and Pho Vietnam Restaurant on King Street
• Joey’s World Playground on Lake Road in Bowmanville was hit on June 20
• On June 22 it was the Friendly Greek restaurant on King Street in Oshawa
• Three places were targeted on June 24: the Tyrone Mill on Concession Road 7 in the Clarington hamlet of Tyrone, Jack and Joe’s Pub on Longworth Avenue in Bowmanville and the Toadstool Pub on Grandview Street in Oshawa

On each occasion police said the suspects gained entry to the business by breaking glass doors and windows. Once side police said the suspects stole cash, safes, tills, and other products. In several incidents a red sedan is used to transport the suspects.
