Mt. Nemo Artisans’ Market, a fundraiser for a group that wants to stop the expansion of the Nelson Quarry, is being held tomorrow.

The market will feature more than 25 vendors selling one-of-a-kind homemade goods including artwork, pottery, stained glass, knit goods, woodworking, Halloween baskets, fall crafts and treats like pumpkin pie and butter tarts.

Funds raised at the event will support CORE Burlington, a non-profit environmental organization fighting the expansion of the aggregate quarry on Mt. Nemo.

The event is being held at 4455 Cedar Springs Rd., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission and parking is free. If it rains, it will be held Sunday, Oct. 16.
