‘Art for change’ panel discussion taking place in Milton

An “Art for Change” panel discussion is taking place in Milton this evening (Oct. 6).

The panel discussion, which will take place at the MinMax Hall of the First Ontario Arts Centre Milton, located at 1010 Main St. East, will feature visual artists who have created art promoting inclusion, diversity and equity.

During the discussion, the artists will share their insights on how art can be used for change.

Artists on the panel will include Allycia Uccello, Aparna Rangnekar, Désiré Betty, Hope Flynn, Jungle Ling, Katika Marczell (aka Candy Press), Nargis Naqvi, Omar Hopkinson (Oms), Poonam Sharma and Reilly Knowles.

Audience members will be encouraged to join the free discussion which will begin at 7:00 p.m.
