Arson suspected after fire damages Brampton home

Police are looking for a person caught on camera after a fire at a Brampton home.

The fire caused extensive damage to the front door and windows of a home in the Autumn Ridge Drive area of Brampton on June 11 around 2:50 a.m., Peel Regional Police said in a press release today (July 3).

The residents at the home were not physical injuried, police added.

Police seek the public’s help to identify and locate a person of interest in the arson investigation.

A person was spotted fleeing the area northbound on a black bicycle after the fire was set, police said.

The person was last seen at the intersection of Bramalea Road and Mayfield Road in the City of Brampton. Police released two photos of the person.
