Arrests in Mississauga after police officer pepper-sprayed

A Peel Regional Police officer was reportedly pepper-sprayed during an alleged assault on Friday night.
At 7:40 p.m., Peel officers responded to an incident in the area of Hurontario Street and Hillcrest Avenue. That was where the confrontation occurred.
Two people were taken into custody, including one suspect who was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The officer was treated by Peel Paramedics and appeared to have no significant physical injury.
