Arrest made in connection with shooting death of Hamilton man

A 20-year-old Hamilton man was arrested in connection with the 2022 shooting death of Everton Frost.

Hamilton police have arrested Salomon Bashir, 20, of Hamilton and charged him with first-degree murder. Bashir will appear in court today (July 6).

On Dec. 11, 2022 at 8:12 p.m., Hamilton police and Hamilton Paramedic Service responded to reports of a shooting on Morris Avenue. They found Everton Frost, 23, in the middle of the road with gunshot wounds. Everton was pronounced dead at the scene.
