Armed robbers target Brampton pharmacy

A trio of armed young men robbed a pharmacy in Brampton on Tuesday night, according to police.
At 6:55 p.m. on March 1, the Peel Regional Police received a report about a pharmacy robbery in the area of Hurontario Street and Mayfield Road in Brampton. Witnesses reported seeing a firearm displayed by one of the three suspects, who are each described as Black men in their 20s. The Peel police said only that the location was “robbed” and did not elaborate about whether, and how much, cash and narcotics were taken.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There were no physical injuries to the pharmacy’s staff, police said.

There was also a pharmacy robbery in Brampton on Feb. 19 in the area of McLaughlin Road South and Steeles Avenue West. An armed robbery also took place at a Mississauga pharmacy on Jan. 30.
