Armed robber targets two Mississauga pharmacies

Police believe the same person is responsible for two armed robberies at Mississauga pharmacies this afternoon.

Peel Regional Police say in both instances a handgun was seen. There are no reported injuries.

One of the incidents took place at Tenth Line and Halo Lane.

Police received this call just before 12:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6-foot, heavy build, wearing a black mask and green backpack.

A person with the same description is also responsible for a robbery at a pharmacy in the area of Glen Erin Dr. and Britannia Rd. W.

In both cases police have not indicated if the culprit made off with cash or drugs.
