Armed carjacking in Brampton reported

UPDATE: The victim of the carjacking is an Uber driver who believed he was picking up three fares when he was confronted by the armed men

A male motorist was carjacked in Brampton and had his white Honda Civic stolen, police say.

At 8:55 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 15), Peel Regional Police received a report about an armed auto theft that occurred at Bramalea and Knightsbridge roads. A male victim was held up by three men and his vehicle was stolen. A gun was seen during the robbery.

The stolen car is a 2017 white Honda Civic with the Ontario licence plate CPMX803.

There were no reports of injuries.
