Armed and dangerous man wanted in connection with intimate partner violence in Brampton

Police seek the public’s help in locating a man they say is armed and dangerous.

Mahad Amjad, a 27-year-old man with no fixed address, is wanted in connection with several serious criminal offences in Brampton, Peel Regional Police said in a press release.

The intimate partner violence-related incidents happened on May 10 in Brampton, police said.

Amjad is currently evading police.

As he could be armed and dangerous, if Amjad is seen, members of the public should call 911, police said. Do not approach or make contact.

A warrant for Amjad’s arrest has been sought, police said. Police encourage Amjad to seek legal counsel and turn himself in.
