Arkells look to make The Rally in Hamilton even bigger; more tickets now available

The Arkells announced on Tuesday (May 3) that more tickets are now available for The Rally at Tim Hortons’ Field next month.

The massive concert event, which was originally scheduled for  June of 2020, has been rescheduled to June 25, 2022, and additional tickets are now on sale.

“Good news: due to overwhelming demand, we’ve worked hard to make the show bigger than ever,” the band said in a notice posted on their website.

“We’ve just *ADDED* more floor TICKETS and opened up additional cheap seats up in the bleachers. Call your friends, this Rally is even bigger than the last.”

The last Rally event held at Tim Hortons Field back in 2018 was attended by approximately 24,000 Arkells fans, which, at the time, was the largest audience the band had performed in front of and one of the biggest live music shows in Hamilton’s history.

Joining Arkells on stage for The Rally are singer-songwriter K-Flay who joined the fellows for their Grey Cup half-time appearance late last year; L.A. -based rock band Mt Joy; and Juno-nominated MC Haviah Mighty.

“If the last couple years have taught us something, it’s that we can’t take anything for granted. Nothing replaces *real life* memories,” the band said.

“No amount of screen time at home can beat the joy of singing songs, surrounded by friends and new friends.”

For every ticket sold, $1 of its sale price will go towards supporting the work of Indwell and their efforts to strengthen long-term, permanent, and affordable housing in Hamilton.
