Update: Area of Brampton should be avoided during crisis call, say police

The public is advised to avoid an area of Brampton which has a heavy police presence after a crisis call late on Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 6).
At 4:40 p.m., Peel Regional Police were informed of an man in crisis at a residence in the area of Professors Lake Parkway and Bovaird Drive. Little other information is available at this time, but the area should be avoided due to potential travel delay.
Update: The male was “apprehended without incident,” the Peel Police stated.
