Three people were taken to hospital after an early morning shooting in Toronto on Sunday.
Toronto police were called to the area of Polson Street and Cherry Street in the city’s Port Lands neighbourhood shortly before 3:30 a.m. following reports of gunfire.

Officers located three people suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police said in a social media post that five people were arrested in connection with the incident. Additional information about the suspects, including their ages, physical descriptions and places of residence, has not been released.
Investigators have not said whether the shooting was targeted or if the victims and suspects were known to one another.
A heavy police presence remained in the area as officers continued to investigate.
