After strong storms moved through southern Ontario on Thursday, the region has another risk of thunderstorms come Friday.
A thunderstorm outlook from Environment Canada shows that much of the province could see storms on Friday.
The risk is for areas highlighted in grey on the map below, which includes southern, northeastern, and parts of northwestern Ontario.
“Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected,” forecasters said.
“Isolated thunderstorms are expected for parts of northwestern and far northwestern Ontario Friday afternoon and evening.”
Up to 30 mm of rain is possible locally, with a peak hourly amount of up to 20 mm.
