Another power outage was reported in Mississauga.
Alectra said an outage was impacting approximately 821 homes and businesses in the Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road area today (July 27) around 5 a.m.
Crews are working on the issue, Alectra said in a tweet.
Alectra expects power to be restored around 8:30 or 9:30 a.m.
Yesterday afternoon, nearly 7,000 residents were left without power in the Churchill Meadows and Erin Mills area.
Update: An Alectra spokesperson says the cause of the outage yesterday (July 26) was a pole fire which brought down a few lines. Today, the cause was equipment malfunction.
