A second incident this morning has multiple Brampton schools under partial lockdown as a precaution.

Peel Regional Police were called at 12:14 p.m. for reports of suspects trespassing on school property in the Great Lakes Drive and Sandalwood Parkway area.

It’s believed the trespassers may have weapons.

As of 12:27 p.m., police say the suspects have left in vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Four schools in the area — Harold Brathwaite PSS, Great Lakes PES, St. Isaac Jogues CES, and Central Peel PSS — currently remain under hold and secure as a precaution.

There is no suspect description or vehicle description at this time.

More information to come.

This is the second incident in one day that involved Brampton schools going under hold and secure, following an earlier incident gunpoint robbery at a Brampton loan shop.
