Another messy winter storm could hit Mississauga and Brampton next week

March is right around the corner but we haven’t seen the last of the winter weather yet.

Following a storm earlier this week, another messy snowstorm is expected to begin this Monday (Feb. 27).

The sunny Monday morning will transition to snow later in the day, with ice pellets and freezing rain possible in some areas.

Snow and ice are likely Monday night and into Tuesday, possibly changing to rain, especially south and west of Toronto.

More messy weather is expected on Wednesday with wet snow or rain showers later in the day.

Drivers should exercise caution on the roads, as the weather will impact visibility. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Those planning to travel via Pearson Airport on Monday and Tuesday should check their flight times and status before leaving for the airport, as the stormy weather can potentially cause flights to be delayed or cancelled.
