Another Gym Suddenly Closes in Mississauga

It’s been a bad week for Mississauga fitness facilities.
Earlier this week, we found out that the Cooksville-based Vision Fitness closed without warning. Now, it appears another seemingly popular gym has abruptly shuttered its doors.
This morning, an inSauga.com reader reached out to say he was surprised to find out that the Gymify location on Burnhamthorpe Rd. (just off of Central Parkway) had closed down.
This sign, indicating that the location has been “forced to close down,” has been taped to the door.
The gym is advising members to visit its website if they have questions or would like to close their accounts.

While the news is no doubt distressing to members of the 24-hour “no contact gym” (it’s a completely unmanned facility that you sign up for online and enter with a key fob), clients might be happy to hear that the brand’s Streetsville gym (located at 128 Queen St. S.) is still operating.
inSauga.com has reached out to Gymify, but has yet to hear back.
