Compared to last weekend when Niagara Region saw 78 new cases of COVID-19, things looked a little more stable this past weekend as Saturday (November 20) saw 24 new cases while Sunday saw 21.

However, with 48 ongoing cases resolved on Sunday, Niagara dropped to 238 cases remaining.

With the largest population in the region, St. Catharines continues to be the hardest hit as it deals with 83 ongoing cases. In fact, eight of the 12 municipalities in Niagara are facing double-digit cases.

Lincoln, Niagara Falls and Welland are next on the list with 30, 27 and 22 cases respectively. In the teens are Fort Erie, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham and Port Colborne with 18, 14, 12 and 10 cases respectively.

The remaining four municipalities run from a low of three cases apiece in Wainfleet and West Lincoln up to nine cases in Thorold.
