Another 25 new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today (November 18) but with just 19 cases resolved, it pushed the region up a little to 240 ongoing cases from 236 yesterday.

For the first time ever, the fully-vaxxed outnumber the non-vaxxed patients in Niagara hospitals as nine of the 17 patients are fully vaccinated, while eight are unvaccinated. Three patients are in the ICU.

St. Catharines continues to lead the caseload with 79 infected while Niagara Falls and Lincoln trail by a large margin with 36 and 33 ongoing cases respectively.

Welland, Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake round out the double-digit caseload with 23, 20 and 13 cases respectively.

The remaining six municipalities run between a low of four cases apiece in West Lincoln and Wainfleet up to nine cases in Port Colborne.
