Another 15 year-old charged in online threat towards Mississauga high school

Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged another youth in connection to an incident involving online threats made to a high school in Mississauga this past Thursday.

On (Mar. 9) 2023, at approximately, 8:45 a.m., police responded to a concerning call at Lincoln Alexander Secondary School in Mississauga to investigate an online threat that was made to the school.

Youth Criminal Investigations Bureau identified a suspect and charged a 16-year-old female from Mississauga with one count of uttering threats.

After further investigations, police located a 15-year-old male also from Mississauga and have charged him with uttering threats and conducting mischief to property.

Police say the male suspect was released with the condition that he will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

According to the Youth Criminal Justice Act the names and identities of the youth charged with this offence is protected.
