Annual rummage sale in support of Milton District Hospital happening this weekend

An annual rummage sale in support of Milton District Hospital (MDH) will be returning to town this weekend.

The sale, which is being organized by MDH Auxiliary Volunteers, will take place at the Milton Fairgrounds, located at 136 Robert St. on Friday, Apr. 22 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, Apr. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Those who are interested in attending are reminded that donations will only be accepted on Friday and must be sellable items. These exclude large appliances, furniture and heavy hardcover books.

All proceeds will support MDH and help with the purchase of essential medical equipment and the delivery of special patient programs.

As a courtesy, volunteers are asking the public to wear a mask to support the sale.
