Annual Leathertown Festival returning to downtown Acton

The annual Leathertown Festival is returning to downtown Acton this weekend.
The festival, hosted by the Downtown Acton Business Improvement Area (BIA), celebrates reconnecting area business and commerce to residents and visitors.
It will offer the community an opportunity to shop the downtown outdoor vendor pedestrian mall, enjoy local restaurants, participate in interactive workshops for kids and adults and view demonstrations by master craftsmen and artisans.
Additionally, attendees will be able to visit exhibits by area service clubs, admire classic cars in the car show, join the motorcycle meet up and enjoy local performers on various stages and sites throughout the festival.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Admission is free and the event is suitable for all ages.
