Motorists in Mississauga have been advised to take alternative routes to avoid the area of a crash that resulted in injuries and roadway closures.

At 4:18 p.m. on Tuesday (May 3), a driver struck a community mailbox in the vicinity of Churchill Meadows Boulevard and Littlebend Drive. As a result, northbound and southbound Churchill Meadows Blvd. is closed between Mocha Mews and Candlelight Drive. Traffic backup could also potentially continue beyond the time of the roadway’s reopening.

Two women were injured in the crash. The extent of their physical injuries is not yet known.
