Alleged sex assault at Brampton massage clinic leads to arrest of Mississauga man

A Mississauga man has been charged with sexual assault after a woman claimed she was victimized during a massage therapy session last month in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say the woman, 29, was having a massage sometime in August when it’s alleged that “the massage therapist sexually assaulted her.”
Investigators with the Peel police Special Victims Unit arrested a man on Thursday.
Renjith Kumar Gurukulathil Appukuttan, 40, of Mississauga, is charged with sexual assault. He’ll appear in Brampton court at a later date.
According to police, he was a registered massage therapist at multiple clinics in Brampton.
