Hamilton’s Forge FC locked up the most decorated goalkeeper in Canadian Premier League history, re-signing Triston Henry to a multi-year deal.

Henry, or “G,” as he’s known to teammates, is the CPL’s all-time clean-sheets leader. He has 41 in 110 career starts in all competitions — all with Forge.

“Triston has been a rock at the back for the club since day one,” said Forge FC business and football director Costa Smyrniotis. “He is an outstanding goalkeeper with big game experience and performances in both domestic and international competitions. We are thrilled to have him re-sign and look forward to continued success together.”

Henry has won three championships in four seasons with Forge, most recently in 2022 when he stonewalled Atletico Ottawa 2-0 in the CPL Final.

The 29-year-old won the Golden Glove Award as the league’s top goalkeeper in 2020. He has 86 starts in CPL play, 16 in Concacaf League, two in Concacaf Champions League, and six in Canadian Championship matches.

Before joining Forge, Henry spent three seasons with Sigma FC (2016-18), earning two All-Star selections and making 51 appearances under coach Bobby Smyrniotis, who is still at the helm of Forge.
